Making A Career Choice
MAKING CAREER CHOICE
“Knowledge is more than equivalent
To force” (Samuel Johnson)
It
isn’t easy to make a good career choice. There are several things you need to
consider; such as choosing a career that interests you, upgrading your skills
for that career, how to grow in the job and be successful in it.
Another
factor to making a good career choice is discovering your life’s purpose; the
purpose for which you are made. A good career choice links you to your life’s purpose. To achieve this, you can use self assessment tools often called career
tests to gather this information and subsequently to generate a list of
occupations that are deemed appropriate. Some choose to have career counselors
or other career development professionals administer these tests.
